ECG Check Up

An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a valuable diagnostic tool for detecting various cardiac conditions, including:

  • Arrhythmias – Characterized by an irregular heart rhythm, where the heart beats too slowly, too quickly, or inconsistently.
  • Coronary heart disease – A condition in which the heart's blood supply is obstructed or restricted due to the accumulation of fatty deposits in the arteries.
  • Heart attacks – Occur when the blood supply to the heart is suddenly disrupted, leading to potential damage to the heart muscle.
  • Cardiomyopathy – A disorder in which the heart walls become abnormally thickened or enlarged, affecting heart function.

Additionally, multiple ECGs may be conducted over time to monitor individuals with pre-existing heart conditions or those receiving medications that may impact cardiac health.
